New South Wales Government Gazette

The New South Wales Government Gazette was first published in 1803. The Gazette is published weekly on a Monday except during the holidays. Notifications in the new south wales government gazette include statutory rules, commencement proclamation, local environment plan and legislative instruments. The Gazette historically did not have a unique marker for notifications but since 2019 each notification has a unique id that can identify it. The notification has an id based on the date of the gazette and the gazette notifications sequential number for that year. Until 1832 an different Gazette was published that covered some areas of what is now Victoria and Queensland.
